I'm thinking of converting my VB to Fireboard so it will integrate with my joomla site better. Does anyone know any draw backs to using fireboard? I'm pretty unfamliar with it and would rather just stay with VB if I can.
    Has anyone else done this?

There is no free premade script for a vB to Fireboard as far as I know, and I know quite a lot about vBulletin. A drawback with Fireboard is cookie tracking in my opinion.

Fireboard is good for Joomla integration, especially if you are using community builder extention.
However, Fireboard develop team seems not to develop it continuously. Fireboard is not Joomla 1.5 native yet.

currently the only option that integrates completely without a bridge is fireboard, its limited in its features but enough.

but if you want a killer website have a phpbb as forum and joomla as CMS.

phpbb has bridges that connect with joomla. These integrated user logins and registration there by making your website more powerful

Fireboard is TERRIBLE. Do not ever use it. If you ever want to go from vbulletin to a free forum software, then SMF is the way to go.
