People do earn from the revenue sharing. The amount earned depends on the number of threads created by the user and the exposure those threads get. In general terms we're only talking maybe a few dollars per month, if you're lucky. A lot of people struggle to reach even that modest amount. I don't make anything because, despite my highish post count, I only start a thread once every week on average.
Exactly. You've got to be a consistent thread-starter to make anything on here, and even then it's not likely to be much. There have been a few very popular threads that span dozens of pages that probably earn the starter a few bucks each month.

Hey, I am a new user. I set up my DP adsense chane as an experiment on 2 September and already I have earned $0.31. Not much. I never really posted anything for the adsense but because of the contribution I wanted to make to the Forum. Some of my posts were in the Politics & Religion Forum and I feel guilty about earning money for my opinions on these matters so I might donate some money to charity. I think this revenue sharing works. Give it a shot.
