He's correct, we really do need to either toughen up or gtfo of Iraq. This political correct war is bullshit.

Well, we are kind of at war, but we are peace keepers too, we want to help police the people of Iraq, but we want to kill bad guys too, and we want to cook dinner for nice Iraqi families in our free time, maybe do some roofing work for them too.

It's F'ing bullshit. Our troops are sitting over there as target practice because this president and the entire government for that matter don't have the fucking balls to either finish the job or pull out. What the fuck are we doing? Are we a god damned daycare service or a military service? Are we there to kill or are we there to stand in the middle of a fucking civil war?

Either shit or get off the pot.

P.S. Sorry, it's late and I snapped. The anger is directed at our sick ass government and their idiotic bullshit, the troops are just taking orders, it's not their fault. The government SHOULD be taking orders from the troops IMO, but w/e.
They're all crazy, Bush is an undercover liberal, the liberals are socialists, everything is just fucked.

LOL exactly. I wish i could sit back and laugh at all the nonsense going on in the country, but it's quite frightening.

The socialist/communist beast is coming out of the cage and SNEAKING it's head into the minds of the weak and uneducated. All i can pray for is that parents these days not let their children be brainwashed by this garbage. Cause that is their ultimate goal, win in the future by corrupting the younger generations through liberal education and such.

Oh they're corrupting them, believe that shit.
That's what government schools do best, dumb down and corrupt children.

If I ever have kids, which I actually don't want to, I will do everything I can to keep them out of government schools. If I have to go whore myself on the corner, then lets do it. Anything to keep them out of liberal education camps. I find it more important to learn about science and history than to learn about homosexuals and transgenders. Seriously.

First, I'm a centrist, I lean to the left on some issues, right on others... No person should blindly follow a political party...

So you believe the fact that my view of the war is in line with the left, means that I don't understand the war? I believe I have the ability to say "been there, done that"... I'd suggest that before you assume a person doesn't understand something, you know something about the person...

You're a lot of things, a 'centrist' sure as hell isn't one of them. AGS says he's an independent, if you're a centrist, AGS is a fucking neo-con. And guess what, AGS is no neo-con.

Right on. I don't want any kids either, which is ashame really because my reason for not wanting any is because i see the future of america and it doesn't look good. Not the capitalist country we grew up in or the free thought one either. I wouldn't want anyone of my blood having to deal with these problems, because mainly i have anger issues when it comes to liberals and it would be a living hell for anyone like myself to grow up in the future of the U.S... SR

But if every other free thinking conservative were to think like that, we won't have any cons in the future making it an easier take over for the libs. Oh well, maybe in the future we can all jump the fence to mexico for safe haven LOL

Hmm, I don't see how you can tell someone else what they are... Most of the major current issues, such as THE issue (IZ), I'm leaning left on... That doesn't mean I agree with all, or even most of their stances...

You've got to agree, that even republicans haven't been acting like republican's lately though... What happened to "small government" and personal rights?

understand the metaphors or whatever it is you call them i use. not everything i say means exactly how it's said. like i say you analyze things too much, i keep things simple. we're 2 different ppl. my hat's off to you for serving but you can' t say anyone who hasn't served doesn't have the depth of knowledge you have.

like gtech said, murtha served and he's a fuckin moron, has no f'ing idea what he's talking about when he speaks about the war. "killing in cold blood"

i just wanna punch my wall when i hear that

So you think, by watching the news or listening to second hand stories, you understand as much as the soldiers there now? The soldiers that have security clearances and are walking around Iraq have no more knowledge then those back home?

well yea i agree with that, most republicans in office are either undercover liberals or just greedy slime out for money or w/e else.

I like to consider myself a part of the Reagan, Beck, Savage, Thompson party.

well great for you. you have more experience than me.. but that doesn't mean i'm just gonna drop my opinion. There's plenty of soldiers and Marines coming back that have similar views as myself. Not everyone that goes and fights it is going to have the same view coming back.. i think most people go in with their own opinion and the events they see only further their opinion.

If i gotta get my hands dirty just to have an opinion in this country then so be it. But after i do, i get to rub in all the whiny libs faces' how i have more knowledge than them about this subject and their opinions are invalid compared to mine. If you wanna play by those rules i think my mentality would overrule

But not all of them are honest about it. Most are, but a few are not.

Let's see what one soldier has to say:

    http://www.nypost.com/seven/0424200...worldnews_geoff_earle__post_correspondent.htm
This is what real soldiers say to Harry Reid, when he tried to claim defeat on soldiers behalf. Honorable. Unlike some, who defend such.

No one said that they'll all have the same view...

I would disagree with this, I've seen plenty of people have their entire perspective changed...

You don't need to serve your country to have an opinion, but if your opinion doesn't make sense then you'll probably get called out on it...

Are you serious? How old are you? No persons opinion is invalid, otherwise I wouldn't even bother responding to this post...

What do you mean "play by those rules"? In a debate? You think your "mentality would overrule" because of, what seems to be, an anger issue?
