This is how I feel about AdSense.

Well #1...I made $22.00 in one month. Pretty weak!! and these are on 4 personal sites.

I think most people think these are like those ads like "OMFG FREE RINGTONE!!!" and then they get pop-ups for a long time or whatever. is this just me or do you think most people are afraid to click??

Was the $22 in your first month?
If so, that's actually a really good amount to make in your first month.

If not, that's not bad either, but work on getting more traffic to your website and build more links and content and such. All of these will result in higher earnings

 

Try to build up your traffic or network by use social bookmark or SEO method.

Hm... I've made $8.50 so far in my first 2 weeks. Started with one existing site and just added a new blog. I'll see how that works out. I think most people are desensitized to ads in general.

I believe that it depends on keywords
if your niche is a freebies website , then u wont get much $$ for it .
If your niche has paid content such as Stock etc. Then u get almost tripple than the freebies .

 

If the ads are relevant to the content, you will get clicks. More traffic, more clicks. Rinse. Repeat.
