I am looking for a quality article writer. I do not want you to advertise your services but I want other DP members to suggest who they use (by username).

    Thanks in advance

    Whats the topic?

Its hard to say who is the best at what if you don't say the topic.

    For example;

    JenMathernn, is great at business

Marketjunction is a great gambling dude

Denisej rocks at what I don't know but I hear she is good

InternetAuthor writes a lot of kid stuff I believe

I rock on all swimming pool topics and plumbing topics because its all from experience, and I like to write :)

Or unless you are referring to "who is the best 1 cent per word writer" or "fluff and stuff"

Then that creates a whole new list

Please be more specific and I can reply better

I meant good buy quality not by price and not for particular topics, just in general.

    Thanks

I actually specialize in writing parenting, family, pregnancy, education and teen interest material, but have been known to write on other things. (Gotta pay the bills!)

I can't say I write about swimming pools and plumbing, though. It's a good thing since it seems like you've already got that more than adequately covered! :)

    Thanks for the nod, btw.

I haven't hired any writers myself that I would consider quality, but I have worked with latoya, DeniseJ, JHMattern, MarketJunction and others whose user names I can't remember right now. They are all excellent.

    Good luck!

    Thanks :)

I concur with Rebecca's list. I can't think of any others off the top of my head, but I'll come back if I do.

JHMattern, Latoya, internetauthor, and MarketJunction are all very good at what they do. Of course, these writers specialize in various topics. Which writer you choose will depend on what you need.

lol You always have the most interesting variation on my name. ;) But thanks for the mention. :)

While they'd probably also work in other topics, generally the writers here I refer are:

DeniseJ - for women-oriented topics or environmentally-related topics
Rebecca (InternetAuthor) - for anything home or family-oriented or for press releases when I have to turn them down for time constraints
    Latoya - for finance articles
Jason (MarketJunction) - for sales copy and gambling

I've referred a few others whose work I've seen (like Highflyer, MaryMary, etc.), for other general topics b/c I'm not familiar with their specialties if they have any. And when people are looking for lower rates I have a few newer writers I sometimes suggest, although they don't have enough of a portfolio for me to really know their overall quality beyond a few samples.

A good rule of thumb is to only hire writers who take their work seriously enough to at least have a business site and portfolio up. If they direct you to a content producer page at AC as a portfolio, keep looking. If they point you to some generic content samples slapped up in a DP thread, keep looking. The good writers are the ones marketing themselves enough to keep the business coming, and who keep their clients happy. You should be able to find plenty of information on them. If you can't, they're likely either brand new or they don't value their work enough to market it... and you have a better chance of finding people who will take your business and project seriously when they take their own work seriously.

Like previously stated, it depends on the topics.

MarketJunction, JHMattern, internetauthor, DeniseJ, etc etc are all good writers. (Although I am not sure at what, their reputation got to me before I've even met some of them more personally)

As for technical articles, I haven't seen too much competition at all. In fact, I know that I am the sole writer/expert on Ruby on Rails, a web development language. Which means more money for me :)

That is prime example that the subject is key :). And be sure to follow JHMattern's tips. She knows what she's doing!

I'm sure Rebecca (internetauthor) would be a good person to talk to about that niche. I don't know if she's available or writes on that specific segment of the niche, but she's who comes to mind on educational topics.

    Thanks for the mention, Jenn!

    Hi,

I'd have to say the Guest Professor is pretty good. Seriously though, there seems to be a nice little niche of writers on here, all of whom see very talented.

I used a writer with the username Neoms that was very good. He wrote the article some time back and I don't know if he is still around here.
