Word of advice to all: No matter how much the reward is, when doing designs, only deal with people who have no problem paying you before you deliver the product as well as people who have at least "some" status on the forums. If you have a Itrader of 3 or more and 100% feedback it shouldn't be a problem to have the work completed first especially if the person has a reputable company as in some cases the person doing the work has to get paid from the client first. I had the opposite problem of paying someone first and then getting rubbish work. They then fail to deliver the remainder of the work and then have to repeat the process with someone else. I suggest doing small parts then building the relationship where you know if you do the work you will get paid in larger ventures. Perhaps offering a discount for prepaid orders. It is unfortunate a few bad apples have to try and destroy the trust built between members. Taking advantage of someones life takes a really sick person to enjoy the thrill of ripping someone off and it is too bad society has cracks that allow this to happen. Audentio if you paid via PayPal there is a possibility you could dispute the payment and request a payment back? or am I wrong? (been busy haven't had much time to look) For anyone without any ITrader or bad feedback always demand payment first as these people will be the first to strike.
