I didn't even vote for Bush, let alone "make love" with him. You need to watch out for the Gay comments: I got a warning today ;)

I never even said that you "make love" with him. No point over-dramatising your posts mate. ;)

You never know man, people get offended by comments such as "invaded through the back door".

Well matey, in order for the old devil and me to be "lovers" I reckon we would have had to have "made love". And nobody invades my back door. LOL :D

Pehaps a link to the republican urban dictionary would be more illuminating ;)

What do you think mate? :p

I have one of the filthiest minds on DP but wanted to humour Lexiseek because his posts bore me senseless. :(

Which is why I was very surprised you didn't know the word. I thought perhaps it was a cultural thing. Maybe that term wasn't popular where you live.

Turns out, you know all the slang terms from all countries and you probably know how to say them in multiple languages ;)

You Yanks do have a few terms that we (Brits) are not too familiar with but we have a few of our own. The strangest US term that I have heard is "making out."

To a Brit "making out" would mean ya got a full on boner and are going for it hammer and tongs but apparently it means kissing with a girl right?

AGS is clueless about everything. Hell, I'll even say it: the guy is dumb as a box of rocks. Of course he doesn't know the latest cultural slang, but he'd never admit it.

This is how all threads in the P&R section end up...someone like AGS or Gwhirled or Briant posts some bogus stuff, Gtech, lorien, mia, me, ly2, debunked, etc. all prove them wrong, then they change the subject to sex. Never fails...and I will never understand what their fascination is (in this case, it seems to be "the back door")

I didn't like it much at all buddy, the whole thing. But I was young and naive and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

The one thing I do miss was the lads, although we spent about three months of the year out in the fields on exercise we still managed to have a good time when we were in barracks. They say the comradeship in the forces is better than on "civvy street" and that was very true.

When we were out in the field this was the type of wagon I drove. If you can drive one of these damn things you could drive anything. They were hell to drive, engine compartment between you and the passenger, loud as fook, no power steering, crash gearbox and a top speed of 33 m.p.h

    AEC Militant Mk1

My last 14 months in the army were spent as one of our company radio operators and I swapped my "tenny" for an old Land Rover. :D
