MySpace now has 200M users  I mean accounts ;) I mean porn bots :p

I know the site is hated by most webmastering types, that is unless of course they are making money off it.

But do you think any of the other 27 social sites will ever be as popular as MySpace once was?

What are the big ones now Facebook, Orkut, ??

I'm out of the loop, can't even name any others!

Wow, now that's a ton of members. Yea, Facebook is another big one, as is Orkut.

Y, I think it only took a year to go from 100M to 200M too
I think more than that...bands alone!! Account for 2M I bet. I think somewhere in the <=20% range of the 200M represents actual users
thanks...right I remember hearing of that one now.

So the answer to your question is yes the other social sies will hit big then like anything there industry will be flooded with millions of people doing, but o course the ones that have made it will remain the number one sites :)

Even though most of those accounts are bots, the number of real ones is still astounding, especially when you consider the amount of time that people spend on there. That collective amount of time alone is worth a lot of money to people who can figure out ways to monetize it.

That's not special! You'll add anybody. I'm saving myself for the people who are selective and judicious... ;)

I would say facebook will soon over come myspace, infact I do not personally a single person with a myspace account, and a few hundred that have facebook accounts.
