Sub domains work fine. We have a mod on the forums that allows you to use sub domains as top level domains.

1EightT - hats off to you. Thanks for sharing this valuable info with us. Do you care about exchanging a few links? (I know this is not supposed to be under this thread... but still.)

Just thougth I'd post here that it DOES really work. I made my second sale today - I made $2,90 on a $29 sale and $3 on a $30 sale.

Some of the domains lasted 2-3 weeks, some of them are still in google, but most of the original ones are gone. I have about 55 domains installed now.

It is a LOT of work, until you understand it all, from there on its quite simple and straightforward.

Now I just have to hope I make another 20-25 sales.. to cover the expenses :p

I had 100 domains installed and had 1 sale originally. Some of them are still getting indexed I think. past two days I installed another 100, so 200 total. Im waiting to see my results yet.

Takes time my friend. Patience is the key. Also remember to stay active on the member forums and ask LOTS of questions. I just had a 200.00 day in cj yesterday from some domains I put up over the past two weeks.

I also put up a new hotfix today so you can use sub domains as main domains. In other words you can setup xyz.domain.com and put main keywords, then do xyz2.domain.com and put up a second set of keywords. This is what i've been doing over the past couple weeks, and i'm seeing the best results i've had in months.

Ill ask here since you're attentinon is here instead of happening to run accross it on the support forums. For this, does interlinking should be turned on as well? Or does the script take care of that and I can just install ssec again with JUST the hotfix? And Ive been searching for that topic on how to install two instances of SSEC on the same vps server and I cant seem to find it anymore

Lastely, if I install the subdomain hot fix and have like one domain with 70K products (each subdomain having maybe 2K products)... do i simply cloan the entire domain and that would cloan all of the subdomains as well or do things change with subdomains? And actually now that I tihnk about it, there is a limit on the amount of keywords that seem to allowed to be cloaned (under 2 megs with php)

You just put the hotfix up today? I thought we could do that originally...(I don't know since I had my subdomain install setup for me)

Also, can we have hyphens in subdomains yet?

I'm also in my 11th day now with ssec and installed 119 domains already but will switch to another vps to have more space as I will put more domains. Still no sale yet but I'm still hoping that within the month of my subscription I could be able to have some sales to cover the expenses. I've spent around $290 and still willing to spend more as I believe in the system and just wait until its my turn to get those sales rolling! Just got inspired with the others who already have reached their $150+/day just on their second month!

I have been using SSEC for 2 months now. The results have been phenomenon. I have now bought the dedicated server and made subdomains and guess what, the spiders are eating up my sites.

I hope to increase the income in the coming months.

Thanks SSEC for showing the way.

I'm glad you are seeing success Ajeet. I can't stress enough the importance of getting involved in our members only forums for any new members thinking about joining. I really believe we have one of the best communities out there for our product. The members help each other, shoot ideas off of each other, and bug me to push the software to do new things. In the end it works out best for everyone involved :)

That's part of the game. Be sure to take advantage of the recently released mods that allow you to use sub domains. More bang for the buck IMO.

So after one month... not quite as successful as lapsaJ. I've only had 2 sales worth about $5, but things are progressing and I expect more very shortly.

I did the method described by the starter of this thread with Amazon about a year and a half ago. I did it with 60 sites, and made about $2,000 a month. The sites took me less than 30 minutes to put online (most of the work put into changing the title image and making different templates). They're best described as data-feed networks. Based on my experience you can assume the following:

These sites shouldn't take too long at all to put online.
You'll get $500+ a month without much work at all.
Relatively, your expenses should be very low.
Nothing lasts forever unless its quality and original...

I was wondering whether amazon was worth working with. I heard they have 1 day cookies, and the commissions are excellent.

I'm trying this out with associate-o-matic running on subdomains, and I hope it is going to work.
