Another question about domain names from the SEO point of view:

I do think that JohnSmith.com is much better than SmithJohn.com, but I would like to know how big is the difference?

    Thx :)

Most people won't type in "Smith, John" into a search engine, but they'll more then likely type it in how they say it, "John Smith". So, First Name Last Name.com is the best.

If you were looking on google for someone... you would normally have it "first last" name.

Officially the last name comes first in official papers because eof family name so usually people write last name for Keywords

and yes it depends on the person so I think SEO for this is not very suitable to consider that which comes first

Yes, but still, if, let's say, JohnSmith.com already exists, and it sucks from the SEO point of view, and my SmithJohn.com is much better, then, if you search for "John Smith" or "Smith John", my domain still contains both keywords, and it shouldn't matter very much, because my only 'enemy' is JohnSmith.com, which sucks. Right?

You have to think like a person thinks. I never call people by their last name before the first. I would never search for that.
