What would you do if you find some money with no ID? I know that some people would keep it. For those who would turn it in, here is your temptation question for the day. They say eveyone has their price!

If you find $100 would you turn it in? How about $1,000? How about $10,000? How much money would it take before you don't turn it in?

I couldn't keep it because I would be worried that the rightful owner's need was greater than my own greed. I'm quite good when it comes to that sort of thing - returning money if I've been given too much change etc.

I would not keep it either, thats almost like ill gotten gain which IMO is wrong!

Just think of the person who lost it, how would you feel if you were that person.

I would return it because it is wrong not to and it could end badly for you when taxes come around.

Well i will return if for sure.... infact I did it once .. i had found Rs.1000 note on railway station, and deposited it to the Railway police station.. so that the man can find it....

The reason why i did this was .. i remembered the day when i had lost my Rs.100 note.... I felt terribly bad when i lost such a small amount ... imagine what the guy must be facing, who lost such a big amount... :(

I will invest that money somewhere to earn more and more. And later on return a little more than that to the real owner, adding interest to it. :D

When I worked in a casino a co-worker found $5,000 cash in an envelope and he turned it in. It belonged to a group of boy scouts on a trip so they came up to the casino gave the co-worker a $500 reward and made sure our boss knew about his good deed. At the end of the night while we were waiting around the boss gave the co-worker $5,000 so by being honest he actually ended up richer.

The boss owned the casino, I'm sure he made more than 5k in a day, probably in an hour, but still, it was very nice of him and promoted honesty.

Well, it would be the opposite for me. No one is going to go to the police over $50.00. Someone mighti f it was $1000 or more. More than likely you know that if its a large sum of money it was probably taken out of the bank relatively recent. I would probably contact the banks and the police and let them know. I wouldn't disclose the amount to the police though and would hope that whoever lost it could be able to tell me how much should be in it before returning it to its rightful owner.

If 10 million was sitting in front of me, I dont' even know that I would be all that tempted to keep it. I would expect a reward for returning it though. ;)

I would probably put an ad in the paper and if no one could name the exact amount I would donate it to a charity., less my expense of placing the ad.

Same with me, if it was a small amount then I'd keep it. I once found 3 x £20 notes in the street :)D), I gave it to charity, because £60 isn't really much.
