Does it Look Good or Bad?

Hi everyone,

I would appreciate your opinion on this Directory's look. I've had a few very mixed opinions from two webmasters.

Your feedback would be very much appreciated.

 

The header doesn't really seem to match the rest of the content.

 

It's somewhat ok. The template just seems too dark for me.

I agree with jajed and cool 78, the header is very dark and the whole page thus has lost its brightness despite of the light brown.

Thanks. This is the part where I thought all matches fine. Since the header has red and coffee. The rest of the site also include some red (categories) and beige/coffe.

Not yet. Just released. But it is heavily promoted and already listed in a dozen of premium directories, not to mention several hundred smaller once.

Check directory owners in Google.

I don't like the menu. Whatever it does when I roll over it.
It like moves around Kinda

 

Even I don't like the menu. Why not reverse the background and font colours for the menu?

The way it is now, it looks a bit out-of-place.

 

i think its too dark it makes me sad being there maybe some better colors

 

Colours are too dark and dont match.
Try using a colour wheel and snatch the colours from there that work... It is easy to do and will make the site look so much better.

Look at www.bamagazine.com

They show you how to match colours and do really cool logos and do it quickly...

And I think you should work on a better looking menu

 

Its OK but it lacks that ZAP that would make it stand out. Great site nonetheless.

I like it. Excellent layout and very nice categorization. Great use of graphics for your featured links and partners.

 

At first I expected to see a cluttered site, but once I saw it that all changed. The layout is actually very nice, and I like the colors you chose to use as well. You did a great job making a directory appealing and user friendly. I am sure you will find success with this site!
