Shouldnt DP now make it official to its users to include forums.digitalpoint.com in their adsense allowed list in DP's control panel ?

The default setting is "allow all sites".

Only if a publisher selects the "allowed sites" option, he needs to add digitalpoint.com to the list.

Did anyone tried the allowed sites feature?

I did, and ecpm went down by half.

Maybe it's coincidental, maybe it's labor day weekend, but I quickly set it back.

    All's back to normal now....

    Scary.

I guess it was just a coincidence. My eCPM has also been miserable for last 2 days. I still haven't used the feature.

I've activated this feature. It's one more level of protection against click fraud initiated by a competitor or someone who just has a beef with you. Read the jensense article in the OP and see where she describes how this happened to someone she knows. The individual had his AdSense account suspended until he was able to provide evidence that the site where the click fraud originated was owned and managed by someone else.
