Soul is not transported somewhere else. Life is a three dimensional projection of Soul, and soul is beyond time, based on your karma you are reborn as man/animal . That is soul get trapped in a three dimensional space again. There is no forever lasting happiness anywhere.
I do believe in next life. There are so many examples around us. In our country some little children say about their previous life.
@ The OP: The Bible teaches when we die, our thoughts do perish. We simply do not exist any longer, except in God's memory. Jesus said that "all in the memorial tombs will come out when they hear his voice". Many books of the Bible speak about what we will do on Earth in the future under the new Kingdom arrangement (as it says in the model prayer found at Matthew 6:9-10). As far as the souls becoming a supreme being and enjoying "forever lasting happiness". This is a teaching found in the book of Revelation in more than one place. It even states how many will enjoy this (Rev 14:1). So, my answer is a resounding YES! I do believe in the next life. The question is "are we all going to see it?" Col
Strength of opinion is directly related to the amount of confidence that one has that their opinion is correct. So i wouldn't say that my opinions were strong, I would say that others lack confidence in the validity of what they are saying.
I believe in being the best i can in this life... If there is another, i don't know...Just want to make this one as perfect as i can.
No. Basically i believe that when a person dies, it´s over. It´s like being asleep or something (without dreams)
Least likely scenarion in my opinion. It's not possible to create nothing out of something or better said: to take something and turn it into nothing. At the very least the energy that is "you" is converted into something/someone else. I like the Eleanor Roosevelt quote:
The energy that is "you" is nothing more than chemical reactions, Electrical impulses and brain waves. "You" are just a collection of molecules that, When configured correctly, Perform a task. If you didn't have a previous life why would you expect to have an afterlife? And don't forget, there are more humans alive now than has ever walked the earth. So where did they come from if after each life we get a new one. None of it adds up if you actually think about it.
How can that possibly be true if there are more poeple alive now than there ever has been? if we got a new life as each one ends there would be a constant amount of humans alive all the time, We know that this isn't the case. Why is it that the people who believe in myth and fairytales are also the ones who find it so hard to use thier brains and actually think about something?
