12 Clicks - $0.98 Any Reasons?

    Hey,

    I have an arcade site (link in sig) and I recieved 12 clicks today, on link ads and text ads. I still only recieved $0.98 for all these clicks, whereas I should be recieving anywhere between $6 and $12 IMHO.

    The only thing I have changed from before is using adsblacklist.com to block some 'low paying' ads that were listed there. Should I undo them or is something else wrong with my site?

    Your lucky you recieved that much. I would never think an arcade could get 50 cents to $1 epc...

    Darn..

    On my old niche I made 0.25 to $2 so I thought I could make atleast this on an arcade.

    it happens, mine is even worse than that., usually earing got f_ _ked up at end of the month, and gets better beginning of next month.

    52 - 200 UV per day.

    Its varying quite a bit.

    Expecting $0.50 CPC or $6 per 200 visitors is not possible when it's an arcade site you're running.

    10c to 20c per click is great on arcade sites. 95% of the people running arcade sites get 3c to 5c per click. So consider yourself lucky ;)

    15c-20c per click for entertainment sites is a good rate. usually clicks are under 10c for this niche.

    yep! arcade sites is really poor niche to be in, i have an arcade site and despite all the promoting i am lucky if its make a $1 a day :(

    As everyone else has mentioned, it's normal. Just try to achieve more traffic, and earn extra money that way, rather than abandon the site in search of a higher paying niche. It's all about traffic.

    So what do you think I could make if I get 5000 UV per day?

    Anyone know a good CTR rate for an arcade?

    It basically depends on which of your ads are being clicked. I got around 50 cents per click a couple of days back, now i'm down to 1 click for 21 cents. Come times its 1 cent, others are 1.25 per click. It depends on your traffic, their interests, and the ads that are being clicked, as far as i'm concerned.
