I suppose their members must have special information that is worth more money than the free advice I can find on DP. Last I checked, Webmasterworld pages were cached in Google, including those blocked from the public, so I could still find the information posted on there, it was just more of a hassle.

 

Never been there. DP is perfect for me.

 

I use to be a member there but haven't really been for about a year. This place is much more exciting.

 

i posted for abit but then found this forum which is better plus they dont allow sigs

 

i agree with last two posts. there is a lack of excitement at that forum but is a good place to get a second opinion on some topics.

 

No it doesn't (unless things have changed) They try and make you believe you have to subscribe to become a member, but you don't ...

 

Which community is bigger though and has better content? DP, right?

 

i've been a member at WmW longer than i've been a member here at DP.. i've been able to post wherever i've wanted, and i've never paid a subscription fee.

In the past i preferred WmW to DP because it was more "professional" - tighter rules, less junk posts.. but over time i've come to like DP better..I guess all those junk-posts have grown on me..

 

That's because here at DP, we know how to have fun when it's time to have fun, and how to be professional when it's time to be professional. It's the best of both worlds...

why would people pay to post??? whats the logic behind that?

 

I think that's mis-information.. I've never had to pay to post anything over there..

 

Tearabite is correct; there is litter mis-understanding; you don't have to pay to post; but to get access to forum like "hosting" or other high-end forum you need premium membership or paid membership.

DP - is more fun than wmw--> that is a digital-->point.

 

I heard it before,but never use it,dp is okay for me now.
