Want to play some games online or on the network (I have another 60 PCs on the same LAN) think I can have some fun in my free time instead of playing against myself or my own PC
If you haven't yet, try SWAT 4. It's loads of fun for small LAN parties and such. For a large LAN party (~60 computers as you described), try Counter-Strike Source, Unreal Tournament [2004?], and Halo for PC.
I was searching for Counter strike as everyone is recommending it and found this http://www.steamgames.com Is it only 19.95$ ? looks cheap for a popular game like this one please let me know how to get this game
It's only cheap because it's been out forever, now CS is good... so is WoW, and probably a dozen others I don't have time for.
You can buy it through that link on Steam, or you can go to the store and buy a hard copy I think. Keep a look out for people selling Steam accounts as well, they can include CS:S, as well as other games like Half-Life 2 Deathmatch and Day of Defeat: Source, both of which are fun for LAN parties.
Definitely your best bet! This and lots of other great games are sometimes found in the bargain bins, too... if you're lucky.
Steam seemed like a good solution since i don't have to install the game itself on my PC but just install that small application ?
Well you can find the best one which is comming out soon in my first siggy link , it is gong to be ace you needa good comp though to enjoy it fully
it's depend on what kinda games you prefer. shooting RPG, real time strategy, sport, Driving bla bla bla. anyway i would suggest AoA for shooting, Ragnarok for Mmorpg, Company of heroes for strategy, Winning Eleven for Football or Pangya for golf. ah there are so many games to play and to suggest though.
