I have not seen any list but i have seen some people say to search google to find edu sites that allow comments. Most edu sites have little value as far as Pr so i never bothered with them.

I always thought that .edu and .org domains were good for PR!

List of EDU sites for Your Niche

Now keep in mind, it's more then just finding the sites though, you must finesse your way into getting a link. Add forum to the search words and then read THIS or blog and read THIS. I don't have anything on how to email novice webmasters to get links, but I can say that find them on your subject and just be nice to them. Get a links page yourself and use it, many college kids will be thrilled to know someone read their work, and will gladdy recip a link.

Either the OP was on drugs when this thread was started, or maybe the meaning of the original post here was lost in translation someplace. As looking at it all after reading your post there is something amiss that's for sure.

    Kinda funny though, lol

site:.edu inurl:blog "post a comment" -"comments closed" -"you must be logged in" "your keywords"

Dzinga1 dont waste your time posting comments on blogs, I dont think there is one blog nowadays who doesnt use the no follow link, so the link doesnt count....

It still won't hurt to try, besides, people follow nofollow links, and in the end it's people we are all after.

this thread is about edu links, that means it isnt certainly about people but PR, so in context my observation that blog comments link value is zero is correct.

Actually, in context, this thread is about "edu sites" and nothing more. For all either of us know it's about educational sites and the OP is just seeking information on which students are best to aim links at. The only other lead we have is the forum topic, but then, heh... that's even not clear in context.

    *shrug*

Especially since the OP has already posted a list of EDU sites which really shoots the context of the thread out into left field someplace, as the best answer yet has been a link to another post the original poster started (thanks trichnosis).

You do not need to post in a thread to subscribe to it...

On top of the first post, under thread tools, you'll find an un/subscribe option. Simply click that.

I think we are missing the point here. It is not just posting our link on an edu site. Yes, maybe Google values such links better, but does it make sense to post on off topic sites just for the sake of having a backlink?
