Recently I tried this cheap hosting package offered at DP. It was cheap and I saw several DP member purchased the package from this guy (another DP member). Then he sold the hosting company to this new guy. There was a problem with the host - my site was down for two weeks because of the whole event. Now I really appreciate good service - and don't mind paying a little extra for the privileges and knowing your site will always up. Here is my question. Is it OK for this hosting company to paste their customer CPANEL with Adsense ads? I have this feeling that the CPANEL is no longer private but public - everybody can accessed the CPANEL - otherwise why bother putting Adsense there? I email them about the whole things but nothing forthcoming yet.
its just because your host is focused on making money and not on customers satisfaction. i don't think everyone (Rather than your hosting company's staffs) can access your cPanel.
caj, Don't worry, other people can't access your cpanel without your username and password other then the people the host you! I do think that is stupid though to put adsense in your cpanel, That is your management, and their are ads... That is plain stupid.
Idiotic, but I guess they can do whatever they want as long as it isnt against the contract. How much do you pay per month? If its low how else are they going to make money.
That is messed up. You can get cheap hosting at Global Domain but there support is slow. Their basic plan is 4.50 a yr http://www.globedomain.com/web_hosting.html
yeah this is weird. I hae been using make hosting but never seen adsense in cpanel before. I think this is not a good hosting though XD
