If you look towards the top, you will see a Search dropdown menu. Type this question into that search bar and you will get many discussion on this already.

Just had a look at your previous posts and some of them simply need a search rather than the creation of a new thread.

Claudek is dead on. While you likely don't need to RTFM, at least skimming the manual can be a godsend.

For instance, two clicks into DMOZ and I found this question (& answer):

How long does it take for my site to be listed in the ODP?]

If that's as good as you bothered to read the rest of the submission what-nots on the ODP then chances are you'll never get listed...

Though I must say, BEST OF LUCK! (and I do mean that)

You think that is a good answer? "it may take up to 2 weeks or more", huh??

You think that is a better answer?

Actually, "it may take up to 2 weeks or more" is the only answer. As most sites DO take two weeks or more, in fact most are still lingering in or around the more.

the time frame is similar to that of DigitalPoint itself.

many questions asked here are answered in under two weeks -- many within days or even hours.

others linger for literally years -- unanswered and unacknowledged, with not one of the volunteer question-answerers here having the courtesy to tell the submitter how to reframe their question so someone will answer it.

that's the way volunteer communities work.

the backlog of unanswered questions at DP is fast becoming a disgrace. one way to tackle that is to ban any volunteer question-answerer if they drop below an acceptable number of responses per day.

Actually, that is a horribly written phrase. It actually says it won't take exactly 2 weeks, it will take "up to" or "more" but I guess not exactly 2 weeks.

It's surprising that such a poorly worded phrase comes from an org that so emphasizes editing. :)

And as I keep saying, if DMOZ submitted itself to the ODP it would never get listed based on it's own guidelines :D

However, heh, it may take up to two weeks or more for it be be reviewed for listing.

    ;)

This is not correct! Resource Zone has not given status checks in several years!

It depends how much you want to pay, there is no time limit on free submissions but you can buy a DMOZ link and it doesn't take that long.

Oh Julian your are such a wag, giving the poor fellow such malicious advice. What dear Julian does not tell you is that offering a payment WILL result in you site being banned, end of story.

Are you still trying to sell your expensive links under the disguise of "SEO" work? How are you going to know who has bought a link? Have you found out yet how did "senior" editors have added thousand of deep links for porn, gambling, pharmacy,....?
The links that other people are selling is no different than the links that you sell, only cheaper. :D
