I'm quite new to this site but from what i hear its a free site to post stuff for sale... I don't get how people earn money with this site what do you do? I read lots of stuff about posting a girl and wanting a guy? how do you make money like that? is it something with affiliates?
Are you new to DP or Craiglist? Because Craiglist is a site where you can sell your services totally free except job postings which are charged.
The starter of this thread just does not under stand how craigs list works feel free to explain someone!
It's all about traffic. When people search on Craigslist they will find your product & site. Craigslist ads do pretty well on search engines so people searching for keywords that relate to your ad will find you. Try a few searches, perhaps homes for sale in a city or whatever.
Success on Craigslist really depends on what you are selling. It's become fairly cluttered with work at home scammers, but for other types of niches, it can work pretty well. Rob
You might also try selling a few items for a while or occasionally at a loss to pull in traffic. Retailers have been doing this for years. Or obtain high demand hard to find items and even break even. This could be presented on Craigslist, Ebay or anywhere that gets traffic.

Craigslist can be an unpleasant place. Some of my experiences on Craigslist have left me with a bad taste in my mouth . Not because I've been ripped off, but because of the caliber of individuals I sometimes have to deal with. However, this problem doesn't just apply to Craigslist. Ebay and other sites have a tendency to connect you to a bred of people you never thought existed.
Craigslist is also one of the harshest environments out there. I saometime post products with stipulations, especially when free. I've been told to "f*&$ off" I've been called a "bast$#d" Those who got the products - couldn't thank me more.. others are just freaking rude.. like they are entitled to something Other than that, it's great!

To do multiple postings on craig's list you need to be able to rotate your IP address using proxy servers, Use a diffrent email account for every posting (Set up a bunch of catch all domains), have several diffrent ad copys with diffrent subjects. CraigsList got a huge amount of loyal users. They will flag any post they see spam. And if you are brave enough to post an ad on their forum, which shouldn't be there, they will promptly bring it down calling you bus..rd, fuck...er etc. Indeed its still one very good site.

I can program any autoresponder and any customization to incoming mails, but what you do is not very nice i guess. There are lots of spammers that abuse craigslist, and it is turning the site to a complete scum. If you are not one of those, i can help you.
I hear that craigslist is extremely powerful in the right hands. I have yet to use because I haven't quite figured it out yet. Post in every area, city, and town, or just in the bigger areas. It looks a bit intimidating when you first look at it, but many people say that it is really easy to use and to get traffic from. Anyone know of any craigslist guides? Preferably....... free
