Judging on what's been happening with some Republicans these days could it have been a children's play group? :D

Obama is in his first term as a Senator from Illinois and he is spending it campaigning for another job. Not a good sign. Besides he stands no chance in the south.

Hillary Clinton is a strong candidate and very knowledgeable besides, she has someone very experienced in her camp. Something no other candidate has, an ex-President for a spouse.

It will probably be a Republican though because the Dems never seem to be able to get out the vote.

I wouldn't back Ron Paul because you are just taking votes away from one of the major party candidates. The reality and history is that party loyalty is so strong, there are plenty of votes to crush any potential third party candidate. If you have strong feelings against one of the those major candidates, your vote would be better used to vote for the other. It's great to be idealistic but the reality is that if we are not careful, we will end up with another president that can't pronounce big words and takes way too much vacation. Please don't post how wrong I am about Bush or give me grief for that, I am a Republican. I just want what's best for the country both economically and on the world stage.

Sonny Bono would have made a great president. We lost him to a tragic ski accident.

What happened to the captin of the love boat? Charo would make a nice first lady.

Very true. Seems that Democrats tend to get elected by accident or out of frustration with the Republicans.

Sounds like you need to do some research. Ron Paul is running for the Republican nomination. And one Vegas line had him as the only GOP candidate who could beat a Democrat in a presidential race. That anti-war, Barry Goldwater stance resonates with disaffected Republicans.

At this point, there is a wide spectrum of potential nominees to endorse. Everywhere from the far right to the far left is represented with a lot of moderate shades in between. This is a good time for voters to educate themselves on the candidates and the issues.

Do you think Jeb Bush will jump in?

He should be able to carry Florida.

I'd really like to see this guy (Ron Paul) in office, but Clinton is the winner, unless Bush has his way.

Bush in 2008. Don't ask me how... just follow the track record and new powers this SOB has created.

Ron Paul, hands down the one person running for the candidacy that I can see bringing freedom back to America and taking away the whole "police the world" mindset. He's the only candidate that I'd actually feel comfortable with as president.

If I was a dem, I'd vote for Kucinich ... But since I'm a registered rep, I'll cast my primary vote for Paul
