I like the idea of him having the same design throughout, text-wise anyway, then a small icon on there. Great for brand recognition. That chocolate icon is awesome Kia

That one from DesignX is really great, does kinda look like luxury coffee or something other than protein related though. But hey that isn't necessarily a bad thing, cos other people might wanna buy it then too Also, he wants it spelt 'flavour' don't forget

Let me just say this was one of the most enjoyable contests I ever came across. It may have to do with the contest being about chocolate which always gets people to lighten up. I went to bed in a fabulous mood: that one liner hecky threw around really made my day. I thought it was so funny and well placed Even this morning I am still smiling thinking about it.. I also got the label or the sachet with the logo displayed which was also cool. Now back to the feedback: ASM, the reason I take the time to offer feedback is because of two things: first of all I appreciate your time. I had to deal with designers in the past and you have no idea how frustrating it is when you deal with some who want to do something in the minimal amount of time and then pressure you to like it. Secondly, (or this should be firstly) I watched some Veggietales movie (not sure you know about these movies unless you have kids) and they were pushing the idea of “The Golden Ruleâ€, you know the Christian belief of treating others as you would want to be treated. So I almost always try to put myself in the other person shoe. I know if I was designing something I would like to get an idea of why or why not. And even though I leave down under, I am originally from Europe. I come from a country that beat England in one of the world cup matches when Beckham got a yellow card. I won’t tell you the year so you’ll have to guess. “Beckham got a yellow card, while playing in the world cup and losing to a European team 2-1?†Speno: you’re usually the opinionated one, but I didn’t hear much from you on this thread opinion wise (you usually mention how you feel about other designs). Your entry is great, very stylish and thanks for heading my advice and moving away from the web 2 look. I like how you made the o-s look like cocoa beans. That was very creative the thing with cocoa beans. Very stylish, very poshy and very elegant entry. Kia: regarding the colour. It is certainly a very chocolaty colour and font. I was able to see this chocolaty colour better now that I am in front of my crt monitor. I think the only thing that was “missing†was an icon which you did. You’re right about the strawberry. I need some fruit after having so much chocolate. Yesterday was Father’s Day in Australia and I got a whole box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Sad part was I had to share it (another Veggietales movie taught me that) with the rest of the gang. I had some strawberries afterwards but it was along with some ice cream and whipped cream. On father’s day I am the boss so don’t bother me with what I should or should not eat on this day. Another strong thing about your design was the fact it is very mainstream. Having a cocoa bean is great but you may be surprised to know many don’t know what a cocoa bean looks like. DesignX: your top two final entries look the best. I now remember, the reason that logo looked familiar to me wasn’t because of Cadbury, it was because of a company that I deal with that sells cocoa powder has an almost identical twirl. Anyway, back to the point: I must say I have hardly ever seen such a great improvement from the original one to the final one. You have done incredibly well. There is nothing I can say to fault your design (except for not writing it like the Aussies do: flavour with an u) The only unfortunate coincidence is xpressions design also happens to be on this thread and while your design is a very strong contender, I am still hooked on expressions one. Even the logo 3b ones look very stylish and very creative. Thanks for displaying the logo on the pouch. The background you used for the pouch is a real winner. I was thinking to run a “packaging design†and thought no one will give it a try but after seeing this I may give it a try. You don’t need to change the flavor to flavour. I would have asked for that only if I was to choose your design. Alex: thank you for the new entry. It looks much better with the cocoa beans and the matching frame. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it looks stylish and elegant, it’s just that I like xpressions one better. Graney: thanks for giving this a try. It is a pleasant entry but just a little hard to read. It looks very chocolatey and I know it can be improved but I just happen to prefer something else with some type of an icon such as a cocoa bean. I know yours already has that splash as some kind of an icon, but I just feel a been is classier. I want to thank ALL who participated in this contest and I especially want to thank Speno, Ari and Coolwanz. These three guys have entered my third contest even though none of them won in my previous two contests so I really appreciate them giving this another try. This has been a fabulous contest and I am super pleased with the entries. You’re a great bunch to deal with. Are you still trying to figure where I am originally from Here's where we are superior to the British: it may surprise but you can check the statistics my country is one of only four national teams (the other three being Brazil, France, and Belgium) to participate in the first three World Cups. Our colours (ex colours cause now I live down under) are red, yellow and blue. And we beat England TWICE, once in the world cup in France 98 (2-1) and another time the European Championship 2000 (3-2). That's about where our "superiority" ends. Don't ask by how much Romania lost to England in the rugby game in November 2001 Just in case some smart Brit decides to bring this subject up. Having played rugby myself, I can tell you, I am still in therapy after the result of that game (and I haven't fully recovered yet)
