Adsense as we all know it is contextual advertisement. I have a couple of domain name which I bought but I haven't put up any content on it. I was wondering if I could put some of those landing page which shows adsense ? Is that legal to start with ?

Any pointers where / how I can get those landing pages?

    Joshua :p

It's illegal to put adsense on no content pages.

    It's not illegal ,it's against TOS, which it's a big difference :p

You can't place adsense ads on a page without content. If the page has content, than it's ok to do it. If it's just an empty page with ads, than you may want not to do it as you'll get banned from adsense.

"AdSense for domains allows domain name registrars and large domain name holders to provide valuable and relevant content on their parked pages."

I doubt he is a registrar or he owns like 20K domains ;)

Right, that's a BIG difference. We're in a Google thread here so we're talking Google terms.
