For the last few days, I was not receiving emails for the new payments I was making and also the new subscriptions. Today, I found out that I am not being charged for the subscriptions that were due today. I checked the status on PayPal and they are active I am totally confused about it all. Has anyone else experienced the same? or Is there anything that you can suggest me?
i have also faced this problem in the past but it usually gets sorted out within 2 to 3 days time and i got confirmaion all in the same hr of time.
Just give them a phone call and ask the representative to look into this, let me know if you need their phone number.
I have not received any subscription payments for the last 3 days. I called Paypal, and after waiting on hold for 25 minutes was finally able to speak with some guy that hardly spoke English. I'm not really sure if he understood what I was saying, but he said that due to some system errors or updates subscription payments were not being applied, and that once the update(s) was done (in a few days?) all past payments would be applied..
That is sick. I had sent them an email about it and they sent me an email on how can I check my subscriptions if they are active or cancelled. There was no need for that sort of information when I had already mentioned that my subscriptions are active in PayPal but I am not being charged. No idea how to deal with it.
Haxan buddy, I am facing the same issue too. I think this is got to do with the recent upgrade that paypal had. I am sure it should be temporary and be sorted out soon. I am expecting things normal after atleast a week, lets see fingers crossed.
Thank you so much humm. I just came up with this http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/09/02/paypal-subscription-payment-service-down/
Thanks for the link Haxan, glad to know that paypal promises to fix up the issue soon and will collect/pay funds.
I just love how paypal gets away with all this crap.... If it was a little guy like the rest of us there would be "xxx is scamming me" But because its paypal, ........iTS " JUST give them some time" You can also read more here https://www.paypaldeveloper.com/pdn...thread.id=11355&view=by_date_ascending&page=1 Hope that helps Seems there are thousands of people
I came across this link too: https://www.paypaldeveloper.com/pdn/blog/article?message.uid=42866 Says the same thing as haxan's link said.
While it appears that Paypal has started fixing some of the subscription issues such as late payments, today I logged in to my account and saw that ALL of my active subscriptions had been cancelled. Every single one. I did not do it and am guessing it is part of this whole debacle. Has anyone else had this happen and/or have you heard any news about if Paypal is going to fix it?
I still have problems since they have been updating. I don't get confirmation emails for payments I make and subscriptions I signup for. Anyone else?
I have sent a lot of emails to the lousy support of the most stupid service that everyone uses. Normally, they sent automated emails or "copy-paste" emails but I have finally got a Human to answer me. -- Hello, my name is Michael and I will be happy to assist you with your question regarding email notification. If you find that you are not receiving some of your emails we ask that you do not only rely on the automated payment notifications to alert you when a payment has been made. Email is not 100% reliable regardless whether or not the preferences are enabled. Any payment that has been made to or from your account will appear in your PayPal Account Overview and History as a transaction line. You will find a 'Details' link in the status column to the right of the buyer's or seller's name or email address. By clicking 'Details' you will be able to view all of the details that would have appeared in your email. There are many factors that may cause an email to be delayed or not delivered at all, including heavy email loads, configuration errors and domain errors. If a seller has multiple email addresses, the notification may be sent to an email address other than that designated as the primary address. Sellers need to view their history logs on a regular basis to keep track of all their orders and payments. Buyers will receive their notification to the email address they used to send the payment with.
I feel haxan there is a problem with your email service provider. The confirmations are working fine for many. Check your spam-protection levels or check if your server email is working properly.
If that is the case, why am I receiving the notifications of payments being received and the old subscriptions that are being paid off? Why is it that I don't get emails when I pay? or signup for new subscriptions?
I am getting payment confirmation and other subscription email from paypal immediately at my email address.
