    Well, at least it looks like you've sorted out the problem with the number '1' you were having in your opening post.

    If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish it probably is a fish - given your propensity to make bone threads this thread is definitely fishy!

    It is probably time for new keyboard.

    I used a worn out keyboard on a lap top since I did not feel I could replace and had no room on workspace to attack external one.

    My guru took key top off, cleaned around contact, which improved problem. I would hesitate to do this however. With the fg problem it seems like you have problem with the contacts. You might try blowing out the keyboard with compressed air container.
