Shopping Cart Suggestions????

    Hi,

I'm looking for a cheap and easy to use shopping cart (never set one up before). I want to use PayPal as the payment gateway. The shopping cart has to have the ability to setup custom fields where the user fills out detailed information, and then e-mails the information to me so I can match the form submission to the PayPal payment. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Paul

oscommerce, but you will need a custom template to make it look half decent. Great community support and yes, there is a Paypal IPN built into it. Its also free. www.oscommerce.com

I can set you up with cartmanager, a merchant account, and lower processing rates than paypal if you would like.

Do you support Canadian businesses? If so I will keep you in mind for the future but we may go with PayPal to start.

You can write a page with frontpage, which require your customers to fill out details and mail it to you.

Try Avactis Shopping Cart. They have free version also and offer free commercial versions to web developers.

If you already have an existing website check out Avactis. http://www.avactis.com/

It's not free but is has a lot of good features, and integrates into an existing site rather than trying to integrate a website into a shopping cart like oscommerce, zen, etc.

Are you integrating into an existing site or starting from scratch?

I'd use OSCommerce if you're starting from scratch. Plenty of support and add-ons, and it's free.
