Your questions is a simple one but I am afraid my answer is not. What I do is sell unflavoured protein which many customers do not like without flavour. I intend to sell sachets (little bags) containing concentrated flavour only. You then open the sachet and add as much or as little flavour to your powder as you wish. You can make a smoothie, or a protein drink with it, but mainly cold drinks. The logo will go on two things: my website and will also go on the label of the flavour sachet.
HI PD.. i was think, if you can show us, the sachet form... maybe we can incorporated it to design we make... just my idea... good luck
Ari, I appreciate the idea. Here's a link to one of the sachets. Not exactly the one I will be selling but very close http://www.gmdpackaging.com.au/products/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16241&category_id=275 I know it would be easier to just post the photo rather than the link but here's the problem: as embarassing as it is I am not much of a computer expert and have no idea how to display photos/images on this thread. I personally think that once I have a great logo (which I already have several very strong entries to choose from) it would be relatively easy to incorporate into the label for the sachet (stand up pouch).
These are the crapiest looking sachets I saw but the only ones I could find. In reality they look better than in this crappy shot. Thanks for putting them up Ari. I may end up changing the colour of the sachets (stand up pouches) from shiny silver to matt gold. The issue was these silver ones were the only ones that had an inbuilt zipper making them easier to reseal. So I am not particularly concerned with how the logo/label will look on the sachets as the colour of the sachets may change. And besides, because I am an online seller, when I display the photo, I can always change the shade or lighting of the bag. I must say though, I am pleasantly impressed you guys are taking the extra stept to ensure the final design will suit the packaging even though I never requested it. You really are a bunch of top guys.
Hecky, thanks for the new entry. I must say that cat thing is a cool signature. Regarding the logo: it is a nice stylish design. The bag/sack looks creative. To anyone else thinking of entering this or anyone thinking of altering entries: I will close this in about 20 hours from now. I received some very very strong entries and am extremely pleased with the entries and participation.
yeah you right PD, change the back color of sachets will make your product packages more stand up.., as long it's about Chocolate, silver background look like not to eye catching. * MotoGP updated :: Rossi out of Race!!
ASM: Thanks for the entry mate. BTW, do you use mate a lot in UK or is it gov? The local courier just immigrated from UK was always calling me gov. I thought it was short for Gavin, even though Gavin's not my name either. It was only later I worked out what gov meant. Your logo is different and is very visible. It also has a sporty look which is cool when you consider I sell protein powders to sports people, though not all my clients are into sports. Thanks for giving this a try.
Ari: thanks mate. Only now I realise you placed the picture on the sachet and you also changed the donut. It looks great. Now that you've awakened my apetite I'm gonna go and have another bite of chocolate.
In that specific order or does it depend on the age and location. Over here, mate is by far the most widely used.
Designx: this new design is an improvement and thanks for giving this another try. There is nothing wrong with your design. I would have used it with some slight modifications if this is what I was offered by a designer so it's a good concept that meets my requirements. The only issue in this case is there are other contestants with stronger entries on this thread.
I need help with something: you guys have been around for a while and coping with criticism, or feedback is all part of the game. The question is, how do you like to be told your design is not going to be picked? I mean you submit something and for whatever the reason the ch prefers someone else's. Would you prefer to know up front: "sorry but I prefer another" or would you rather just wait until the winner is announced not knowing where you stand? You may not believe it, but it's not always easy saying no to someone who takes the time to enter your contest. We all know there can only be ONE winner but still, what's the best way of saying it? Let me be one of you now: "Feedback appreciated" on these thoughts
