Appraisal-SCAM ! Read !

i am selling a domain www.hi-rank.com

There is a scammer who writes to people selling domains/domainnames and poses as someone interested to buy a domain.

He will tell you that your price is ok.

Although there is a catch:

He will tell you that you as a seller (NO dude, i think its on YOU, the buyer !) need a professional appraisal, otherwise he is afraid to overpay.

He directs you to a fake forum with a couple people talking about appraisal-services, and how good they are etc..etc.

The fake forum has two links with "appraisal services"-sites...which are owened by the scammer.

He will make you pay $80+ for an appraisal....assumes you wont know that he is behind the whole scheme.

The very suspicious sites in question are:

I left the URLs in the message now on purpose, since everyone looking up those in Google the next few days will read that message on DP

So be warned...

Also..its totally pointles l to let a domain appraise which has no history, no past PR or traffic or backlinks like mine has.

Let domains appraise once they have a complex history, but then at a known and reputable appraisal service....
