Wordpress link footer question..

    Is it problem if we remove the http://wordpress.org/ link on blog footer..? If we remove the link what effect for the blog..??

    Yes, you can remove the wordpress.org link from your theme.

    It might be good to change the anchor text, though. I read that hackers do a search for "powered by Wordpress" to find blogs with vulnerabilities like MYSQL injection.

    Why would blogs with "powered by Wordpress" be more vulnerable than other blogs?
