$30 Logo/Header Contest - Ends on Sept. 4th

    Looking for a header/logo for a website...

    The text should be:
    Blow-n-Go Boats

    With an optional tag line:
    Inflated Boats at Deflated Prices

    Also an optional URL:
    www.blowngoboats.com

The website sells inflateable watercraft like kayaks, and other water things...

    Maximum Size:
    550 wide / 145 tall

    Colors:
    white and blues

    Contest ends:
    September 4th, 2007 ... 8PM (about)

    Payment via:
    Paypal ($30)

Winner should be able to provide a .JPG or .GIF, and the .PSD (or other editable files)... The graphic will be used on letterheads as well as the website, so please make it decent quality...

I'm looking for something professional, not goofy... I'll try to leave feedback for everyone often, so you can all see what I'm looking for...

If none of the entries are up to "par", then we reserve the right to use paint-shop-pro and do a horrible logo ourselves... :)

    Any other questions, please ask...

    Great looking forward to it...

Just an update as to the timeline... it will end on the 4th, but the winner might not be chosen until the morning of the 5th...

    @ Notting + Nikopolodis :

Perhaps you want to change those designs to more of a logo rather than header. The CH says that the logo will be used in letterheads, but your entries look more like website headers. I don't mean to sound rude at all, I'm just saying perhaps you need a logo in the header :)

Thank you to everyone that's entered so far... I'm not able to edit the main post anymore, but I would like to add that Hecky was right; the design we are looking for should have a light background (white or other light color) to look good on a letterhead... Sorry I didn't mention that before...

nikopolidis - Looking for a more professional, brandable logo, and a light background...
Hecky - Looks good to me, so far it's the only entry suitable for a letter head :)
Notting - Would like a light color background, and a more professional feel to it...

Also, please note that the winner will be chosen by myself and two others, so I'll try to get their feedback as well...

Thanks for the entries so far

Ok, I've come from a different angle on this one. Gone with a more "letter head" feel.

Let me know if this is getting closer to what you are looking for. Is the font ok?

    Thanks

Notting - Thanks for the overhaul, it looks a lot better... It's important that the image is able to be placed onto a letterhead...

weblazer - not really what we're going for, but thanks for the entry!
zmaja - Great logo... The O as a life-saver kind of scared me, like wondering if it's sending the message that the boats are unsafe... But the client loves it! :)

I also received 1 entry via PM... It looks good, but I don't think they wanted it posted here... I've given him feedback in a PM reply...
