I was shocked this morning when my earnings were way higher than expected - i thought I might have left the screen on "Yesterday's total" - but when i looked i had one channel that was getting (approx, just about, close to, around, in the neighborhood of) ~$10/per click.. and i had gotten several clicks! And no, i wont tell you the subject/niche of the page.. Yeahhhaa Baybeee!! (note that i am not disclosing the actual ePC nor the actual CTR)
Damn! Did you email Google? And uhh... you're looking awfully fine today... mind showing me your... niche?
email Google? why? To tell them some poor adwords guy accidentally entered more per-click than he meant to? The number of clicks is not alarming, it's normal - actually below normal.. it's the amount per click that is so high..
Looks like you're getting lucky, unlike the Adwords user who is in for a severe shock. Not in any way your fault though, so enjoy the clicks and I hope they continue for you, which probably isn't likely in all honesty.
Tearabite, I don't know why but whenever I read your posts I always think you make like thousands of dollars a month. I don't know why, so it always surprise me when you post small earnings like this.
Oh yeah, i know.. but it feels great while it lasts My ePC has been trending upward for the last few months - i keep hoping this is just part of the trend.. it's a good thing too, because traffic has been trending down..
Kngavl; See my earnings report for August in my blog. Overall earnings are in the thousands, but Adsense is not all that high.. Besides, i dont care if i was making $100,000/month, i'd still get excited to see such a high ePC .. I guess i'm still just "one of the guys"
Dude, mistake or not....bad ass!! maybe we could all be so lucky? *excuse my french for all the teen millionaire entrepreneurs in here.
Hey Randy Nice stuff!!! Hopefully it will carry through to Tuesday when they show up to work and check their Adwords Spend lol. He isn't lucky, he works hard to get to where he is.
I dont understand eveyone on here. Why is it when someone says they are earning some money from adsense, everyone suddenly wants to know what niche there site is about??? Like everyones going to create a crappy little website and think they are going to earn loads of money?? Why not just pick a niche you are interested in or knowledgeable about and then create a decent website and stick to it. Rather than creating loads of little made for adsense sites and thinking you will get rich quick. It never works like that so everyone might as well stop trying. If i'm earning $20,0000 per month from a website on banking, doesnt mean everyone can earn that much in the next 2 months, it just doesnt work like that.
Excellent advice! That's exactly what I did almost 2 years ago and it's worked out quite nicely for me..
i've had clicks almost this high, but never more than 1.. so, no.. FYI.. for the last few hours the ePC for this channel is down by almost 40% .. still dang good though...
