AdWords FRAUD !

I purchased adwords for 200$ and they gave me credit card bill of 800$

DAMN!

and it aint that great too...better is to do seo frm an expert like me

 

AdWords is owned by google, and they do not scam people, however it is easy to make a mistake like this.

If you feel totally cheated, go to your bank and do a chargeback. However, google will not be happy if you do.

Actually Adwords has been awesome for me. Spent money but made a little more in revenue for the month. (not enough for a check but making nice strides)

Adwords work well for me too. I love getting clicks that only cost me 1 cents.

 

They made over $1billion last year from adwords/adsense alone.

yeah,that will get you banned.
for a company like google,just contact them.if it is a mistake they'll reverse the charges.

 

Obviously contact google first. But they will not refund, you have no choice than chargebacking if you need your money back.

Yes, the most wise action would be to contact them, as they are a serious company they should give you your money back.

I hate Google. They are monopolizing the Internet. They are trying to be like Microsoft is in the world of operating systems. They think they can do anything they want. They have their hands in everything Internet related. I think they would rather us call refer to the Internet as Google. These guys are making billions of dollars in ad revenue and can't figure out a way or wont figure out a way to protect it's advertisers against click fraud. Google needs to be hung by the neck.

 

I love Google and have always found dealing with them very fair. I was once double charged for around $700. A short email to google and I got my money back in a few days.

It's easy to hate someone/something making billions (I hate that their are making it and I'm not), but they couldn't do they if they didn't look out for their users AND customers. I wouldn't give them thousands of dollars of my money every month if I didn't think they were being fair.

I've tried other search engines, but I still use google because their product/service is superior.

 

Just buy their stock and relax for a few years. $600 bucks will by 1.20 shares. I really think you should contact google by email or phone

 

Google weren't the ones losing..

 

Nothing stops people from:
1. using a simple proxy (maybe if google tracks commonly open ports they can find a few of em)
2. Simply go to another pc and click (just dont log into your adsense account with it)
3. scan loads of weak remote (VNC) control servers and use them. (piece of cake, you're actually using their windows/linux/mac and graphically visiting it normally through their computers.
4. <loads of other methods here>

Maybe, as you say, if they monopolize the internet and install software on EVERY computer on the internet (otherwise you can't use anything related to google otherwise) and tracks if its an actual user or something automated/remote controlling the mouse/program/whatever.

Before complaining about the company, why don't you email or call google and see what they can do about it. I am sure its a mistake on your part or theirs... Google makes billions, im sure they are not out to scam you for your money. The time it took you to post this thread, you could have consolidated your problem with google itself.

 

You can't just purchase $200 worth of AdWords... what you're charged is based on your budgets & whatnot. If your monthly budget was $200, then you won't be charged more than $200. If your monthly budget was $200, but you were charged $800, that's pretty unlikely since a computer is doing all of the billing. Post a screenshot of your invoice & spend, and the CC charge.
