After my business got working again a few days again i was thinking of creating a new discussion forums about everything as i got an IPB license renewed and ready for use. But when i asked myself what will be the use of a giant forum except we will have ads but the hosting of it would cost a lot of more... by some strange luck i got an idea...

I will create those forums, and members will post on them and after we reach about a million of posts and 500-1000 members we will sell the forums and the money earned will be shared with the TOP 100 POSTERS ofcoz we will be doing in percents, who make the most of posts will get the most of money and so on...

So before i start this i am wondering? Would be people interested?

We are talking about "million of posts" Getting even 100K posts on a forum is not an easy job and you are taking about way more than that. To me it is a dumb idea because no one will believe that you are going to pay them. What if you run away after selling the forum?? No one knows where are you from, what you do?? This is kind of an impossible idea to me (nothing harsh but it is my personal opinion)

Getting 1k posts is not an easy job. I sugggest you head down to theadminzone, and see all the failing forums there. The admin is a jerk though.

I didn't get why you are telling me this? I already mentioned that getting posts to a forum is not easy without lots and lots of advertising

A forum with 100k posts is very good, and extremely hard to get. Better to set your targets lower, when you start.

Oh yeah but a person atleast should have 100K posts as a target or else he will fail that's why I mentioned 100K also the number of posts he was talking about comparing to them 100k is nothing

PS: thanks for the suggestion but I've no plans to open a forum (had bad experience with one )

Yeah, theres too much competition for forums nowadays. People want large forums to join, not tiny new ones, so they never get a chance.

Ok you are a nice guy and you won't run with money all alone but did you ever think how long will it take to post lets say 100K posts? Do you think people can wait so long (everyone wants to make quick money)??? And lets say if they wait so long and you are not able to sell the forum what then?? There are many other things that would trouble you on your way through this.

And I don't think any poster will keep on posting for five years thinking that he will get paid $$$$ when this forum will be sold

True true, the only difference my forums will be giving contests for free hosting, free resellers and free domains every month, which would keep ppl in it + after the forums is sold they will get money.

Pay your posters at least monthly or have a currency system like namepros that will keep people comming back to post plus a share in the profits once the forum has been sold.
