hi, fellows, I have techblog since January 2007 this year after a long time i got my first check in August of some $200, its pretty much the same till now. I think Adsense is under-performing because i'm around 2k unique visitors nearly 4K page-views i have seen lesser traffic blogs scoring better then me, how can i increase the CTR and eCPM. Basically eCPM is the culprit thou i have used adfilters still no effect as the eCPM is way low. I could have disclose the CTR and ecpm but thats against TOS. Try putting more ads within the page. Though you might not want to put between ads within the post, You can try putting ads between posts. Also try a ladder ad in the sidebar. In my opinion, a sidebar ad or an ad between posts will yield more results than a header ad. Nwk
Well i haven't found a good enough plugin using MightyAdsense. Adjection Injection conflicts with MightyAdsense. Its a little tough 2 integrate the ads within the posts as its a group blog. Authors just comes and posts nuffin more they will do. The header ad i just put yesterday testing it out. Also sould i put pictures besides the 300x280 ads like sites like slashgear.com has. Thanks
I Suggest vertical sidebar on the left. Make borders white. I think the yellow ad in the top is not necessary.
If you are using wordpress, you can easily integrate adsense between the posts. All you have to do is put some PHP codes in there. You can contact any php programmer to do that..But putting adsense within the post is not a good idea I think so..
