1 vs More Placements in terms of Click value

Hi everybody !

I was thinking about this, and I'm not sure that having several placements will optimize the revenues.

In my example, I've been using inside a message board:
- a 728x90 at the header
- a 120x600 at the left
- a 468x60 at the center just before the messages or message lists

If I use just 1 of these placements, I think the relevant ads (with higher CPC) will be all concentrated in that placement... instead with 3 placements, I will have a total of 10 ads in these 3 placements, and not all of them will be relevant or have good CPC.

Any thoughts ?

Is it better to have many placements or just one ? Tell me your thoughts or your experience ?

Whatever you do, the higher CPC ads will be on the first ad block..

 

i prefer 1 placement as it increases click value!

 

What do you mean by «the first», you mean the one near the top ?
