    I also enjoy the sport.

My favorites, in no particular order, are:

    Roy Jones Jr
    Floyd Mayweather Jr
    Mike Tyson
    Bernard Hopkins

These are the first few that came through from the top of the head, but there are others in that list. I only included people that I've had the privilege of watching, not those who passed away before my time.

4 fantastic fighters. If Mike Tyson had his head screwed on he could have ended up the greatest. Bernard Hopkins, well hes getting better with age at 44. And Floyd, is a supremely gifted fighter. I hope RJJ can pull it off against Tito Trinidad. Good choice.

Agree. What a series. Whenever i need some inspiration i just watch any of the rocky films. I end up drinking raw eggs and im all pumped, then i go yuck , that tastes really bad. :D

Yes obviously the current generation of fighters aren't as good as those classic generations but its getting close. Fighters like Oscar, Choc Mundine, Cotto, this generation is going to turn out to be great.

Agreed, regarding the comment about Mike...his knockouts are still played over and over in everyone's list of favorites
Bernard Hopkins and Floyd are moreso about the science of boxing than the flash. Both are very good at their craft, Bernard sizing up his opponents, picking them apart flaw by flaw, while Mayweather is simply gifted and continues to fine tune his ability to evade all types of attacks from all different directions.
Roy Jones, in simple words, was a highlight on any card. I also hope that he can show us some signs of revival in the match against Trinidad, but he's unfortunately disappointed in the past. To this day, I still believe that he could've beaten Tarver if he wanted, but that there was some motive that prevented him from doing the deed.

Yes no doubt Roy Jones Junior is a much better fighter than Tarver. Its just a shame, because before he lost to Tarver he would have been ranked as one of the greatest of all time. Now his legacy has been badly dented.

If you love boxing sign up to my blog. Yes it is a very good sport. There is less head injuries in boxing than in soccer. So the danger argument really goes out the window there. Manny Pacquiao is a great boxer cool78. I have to agree with you.

I know, I enjoy boxings current generation, especially De La Hoya,
I'm just saying they're probably never going to do anything as great as Tyson vs. Holyfield(or bite off anyones ear:cool:).
