Grand Announcement - Creep Directory - New Design + Deeplinks

Noble Directory Network is proud to finally announce its new paid directory -

Working on PhpLD 3.1.0 version, it has a few Mods like the Deep Links for link submitters, and working on the other Mods as well.
The design is unique, not used elsewhere. And work is going on for a nice header and promotional banners.
Soon, i will be placing a web directory blog that would help about the updates and would include articles about Web development and directories.

Nice work on the directory, colors look good and diff. Will submit a site of cilent soon. Also, are you sing any Mod to keep the blog posts in sidbar?

Ok i will do that, cause i ain't got the cash to submit .

So lets start (sorry i got this itchy finger syndrome huh to post honest reviews).

First impression, "is that a heart or a leaf" cause that caught my attention the first time i opened it, so suggestion for improvement, put price tag in there or major announcements to get attention.

Change ur header logo image too much white, make it less higher, aka reduce its height. Wasting too much of space. And Paws do not go with the Leaf like Heart. They do not blend well i think.

Oh god no u are using Grey color for mouseover, get rid of it now, use orange or light blue will look way better, grey adds dullness to site.

Shrink your search field, its too high, it should be in proportion to the text size that goes i the search field.

Make your submit page wider, lots of white space on the right, use 95% as the form width.

I would add more stuff to the details pages for example at http://www.creepdirectory.com/detail/link-3.html , or get rid of the news on left sidebar, thats too much text in little space.

Hope that helps a bit and one major issue, under the Our Sponsors links you are missing " Web Directory Reviews " Thats a big no no

Overall it has good user-friendliness. But just too much white on the site.

Hmm still working on the logo, suggest something what could i place there instead of the present Paws?
And yes, i too actually didnt like the grey when the mouse rolls over those buttons.. should turn into lighter colours.

I think search box looks cool.. Atleast for me!
And for the details page, i am going to use a few Mods like statistics, alexa Mod, category seperator and social bookmarking mod. Hope that would be cool.
And as you said that blog posts in sidebar makes the detail pages lengthier i would decrease it to latest 3 posts.
And whiteness.. actually wanted to keep it simple! So preferred white.

 

By whiteness i mean emptiness not lookieness.

 

Oh yes as it is new it is empty, anyways will make it a nice resources of some good authority sites

This is a very nice directory, I like the fresh look that the colours project. I am going to include it in my budget for submissions at some point but not this month, I'm afraid You should change the logo by the way, maybe keep the paws but put the name of the directory instead of the generic title.
