Hi to all, I was thinking lately on article writing issues and had many thoughts wandering in my mind. I finally agreed that it can be a great asset to our traffic generation inventory and even more if used wisely. What is you experience with this method? regards
Article marketing works very well, make sure you target specific keywords in your resource box so you get good backlinks to raise your SERPs.
Article marketing is where I place most of my focus on personally. Most of my backlinks are built from article marketing.
As long as your articles are good quality and the article sites approve them it should be worth it. Every link is worth the effort.
Hello, I was thinking to add a little update to this thread. Article writing is about two things in terms of bringing profit: the content and how you present the content. In terms of the content - it totally depends from your area. You can be a seller in eBay, you can be an affiliate to a poker site, or you can be selling post cards made by you. The whole idea in Article writing is HOW you present the content. The first questions that appear in my mind are: Is there a fire in the article? Is this a sincere writing or a scam? Does it target a specific audience? Is the content unique? What is the article orientation - to inform, to sell, to amaze...? What do you think, by addressing the above questions will we increase the chance to write a better article? Reps are appreciated. Regards
I do not agree. I does help in SE rankings, but the idea is visitors to read your articles. If you do not have a nice writing style - for the targeted audience - and also if you do not present properly your ideas and do not have a clear thought - people will not read you! That's a fact. Regards
Article marketing works - plain and simple. Marketing with with right article directories works even better - there's little point in having your articles on 791 article directories that have little pagerank and zero trustrank. Having your articles listed on 5 or 10 high quality article directories works far, far better. Producing quality, readable articles that provide value also works better than churning out hundreds of rewritten pages of PLR garbage - remember your online reputation can be made or broken by the quality of your articles. Article marketing is often abuse. Used wisely it's an integral part (but not the only aspect) of any website promotion campaign. Niall
it depends on 2 things - 1. the number of articles that is posted to the article directories. 2. the quality of the article. Both of these 2 got to work hand in hand. You can't just simply post a supreme quality article and hope all the traffic would come from it. You would need to balance out the number of articles and the quality of the articles. it's a number games after all.
This can work but heard to write stuff just for it don't take stuff off your site or you will get in trouble for content duplication
Hello, I totally agree on this one! Article writing is one thing and web pages content writing is another thing. They can go side by side, but should never be mixed up! The idea is to write an article on a topic in the area your business is and possibly you can include some of your experience and also talk about your opinion on that area. If your article is good enough, yes, it will attract people's attention and eventually people will click on you business link. Conclusion 1: People will target your business link only and only if they see you know what you are talking about, your article is interesting and also if they are the targeted audience. What do you think, what should be also included in the Conclusion 1? Your opinion matters! Regards
Hi, I also agree on you comment, but would add: 1.1 The number of articles posted in qualified and trusted article directories. Concerning your conclusion, I would say that there is no supreme quality article, but article that will HIT the target. Example: If the idea behind your article is to show your expertise in SEO, you can write a supreme quality article with many helpful links and information, but if your language is full of slang and spelling errors - you are not an expert! Another goal may be to acquire targeted traffic. Your article can be written in such way that will be listed very high in the search engines and also might attract a load of traffic, but if that traffic is a one time visitor (just from curiosity, or a high school student that does not own a credit card to buy your product) - you DID NOT fulfill your goal. So when doing article writing we should think of our goals first, make a writing plan and than start writing. Do you agree? Regards
