New Link Bid Directory

I started a new Link Bid Directory:

What does everyone think? I have not gotten anyone to add their sites yet. My buddy at work added one, and my dad added the other. Any clue on why no links?

Got those links on the main page fixed, I just need to fix them on the sub pages.

 

You need to advertising your sites then only you can get more sites to get submitted on your site.

 

I like how you can see a preview of the site when you hover your mouse over it, I the colors look alright, but I think maybe you should have the banner text bigger. Bottom Up Site, seems like its too small in the upper left corner to me, or perhaps you could throw something nice up there you made in photoshop as a banner instead. Anyways, the site looks pretty good, good luck, I hope you get more people to add their site.

 

I was going to try to make some sort of image for the top, I just need to find the time.

Anyone know of any good FREE advertising techniques?

 

bit of advice from a bid directory owner.

1) change the script to phplb
2) get a unique template made
3) bid on other bid directories
4) be prepared to spend a lot of money people will not bid if you do not promote i have spent over $4500 on promo for my Bid Directory

 

nice design, colors are uhhhhm, "unique"...

 

needs a 2.0 look that look dose not do it justice

 

I don't really like the design. The colors don't look very nice. It needs a background other than white. the footer doesn't match the rest of the layout.

Adsense ads makes it look kind of unprofessional and I don't think you are allowed to put Recommended Sites on top of them.

I would reduce the width of the bar between the header and content..it currently extends out further than both.

Your site looks alright. It loads fast and is not over crowded like some sites.

The downfall is the brown. It is quite a turn off that brown. Maybe use a different color would make the whole site look a little more better.
