    Does anyone know the answer!
    I have been racking my brain. I can't figure out how all that spam shows and my ads don't.

    Search DP for Craigslist Powerposting. It is an ebook with pretty good reviews that shows you how. I bought it yesterday but I haven't had a chance to implement it to see if it works but from all indications of the reviews (and there are quite a few on that thread) it works.

    Sorry I am new so I cannot post the link live in my reply yet.

    Sometimes it also depends on saavyness of the users for that particular Craigslist city. For example, San Francisco users are saavy and will mark spam quickly. Other cities (like Canadian cities) or in the midwest, aren't as saavy and don't detect spam as well as SF does.

    So mix it up and post throughout the U.S. and see what sticks.

    Also, make sure that if you do post the same kind of ad in more than one city, don't make the ad in cities "next to" each other. For example.... Don't Post an Ad in Dallas, then post the NEAR exact Ad in Houston, San Antonio, or Austin.

    I know you can't post the EXACT SAME Ad, no matter what, but if you are using some of the techniques that get passed around the internet like using Invisible Text or just changing a sentence or two, All of your ads in the local geographic market will get flagged.

    If you do get banned, use a proxy, but make sure it is from the same part of the world that you want to post on. You can't use a Canadian Proxy and Post to the US.

    Users in other cities aren't as RABID as the foaming at the mouth users in San Francisco.

    Your pitch sounds somewhat unprofessional, webinputs. I believe for something that is content-orientated you should at least be able to master the language structure.

    I've never actually tried Craiglists myself. What sort of adverts would I use it for? For example, would it be worth my while posting Wired Flame to it for advertising our writing services? Or how about RSI related injuries for Talk RSI?

    lol, very true, very true :)

    in addition to SF you will find a few small cities to have some hardcore flaggers, like vancouver, bakersfield, eugine, and albany for example.

    wildhoney;

    They are probably in India. They probably have you provide the exact ad you want displayed. Therefore, their command of the English language isn't entirely necessary to perform the services they are soliciting for.

    I didn't look at your site Wired Flame, but if it's as you say, a writing service, then, yes, you could probably do quite well by advertising your writing services on Craigslist. SEO, Website design, Writing services, these all tend to do quite well on Craigslist.

    Of course, depending upon the competition you're up against. So, sometimes, it's better to target smaller cities. You won't get as much traffic to your ads, but your ads won't scroll as fast and you won't have as much competition either.
