You can't depend on Adwords cpc because there are many factors controling this

Didn't you think about an advertiser targeting her site ?

Also google shows expensive ads before cheap ads and expensive ads go to the sites that google believes will convert better for the advertiser

It's not only the cpc that controls revenue because if we know exactly how the system works, we can copy google's success and make 100 cpc companies

It was just an assumption - no one really knows how exactly the system is running because it's the secret of their industry - they never tell you how they work and what is their formula - you let them manage the calculations and just get your revenue - you don't even know what is the percent of your share

It's like they are saying "if you don't like us as is, find yourself an alternative. (period) "

 

Where is your google ads placed? How much traffic you get to your site?
All these things count.

2% is a great CTR. I usually get .5% - 2% and 60K+ impressions per day. This site for sale isn't getting any traffic. Look at the Alexa data.

I seriously get 60K impressions on one of my sites and it is lucky to stay in the top 20,000 in Alexa.


I think the seller trying to pull a fast one here, the stats are totally phony.

 

2% CTR LOL I dont think I've seen this sites CTR drop below 3 or 3.5%
It's average for the month was 3.93% even though It went through DNS changes in july 25th july 28th. Just because things may be impossible for you to achieve doesn't mean others can't.

This will give the buyer time to log into adsense and log in to server (since hosting is free) and check every aspect. Then the buyer can post his or her findings in this thread!

I think selling a site for 3 mo. rev is a hella deal sorry you don't feel like $600 is a bargain for a site in 1 month made over $185.

 

btw, Alexa updates daily but sometimes they ignore spammy sites so I checked you on complete.com and you did manage several thousand hits in the last month...

Like I said ..If you can't believe how It gets traffic and SERPs in a short bit of time then that's your problem. There's no buyers so I will have the site fixed and revamped for higher CTR ..and start promoting the site instead of letting it sit as I have.
People who are listening to your bogus claims have just missed out on a easy money maker as the site NOW runs itself without promotion and can easily double with the basic marketing efforts

Manual checking is always the best thing since those automatic tools are not always accurate

I'd prefer revenue rather than traffic any day of the year

She just provided adsense screen shots and I think she has hit some high paying keywords and this is much better than having much traffic that is not converting well

I still agree with you about one thing, the site is messed up in Firefox but I don't think normal people use Firefox that much

it's mainly used by webmasters

 

To be honest I'm not responding to any negative posts. If you want to but then the option is their and you'll get to log in to verify everything is as stated.
