lol - i seriously doubt some numbers that are being thrown around here, about high profits made - Aa was sold and and it's not even turning a profit.
Ill give you all an example of what I have been experiencing: June 2007 July 2007 August 2007 Please tell me I am not seeing things.... look at June then look at July/Aug. I haven't changed anything on my sites. Nothing has changed, from Adsense to AdToll ads.
I gave up AA ads a long time ago. They sent me an email about problems they had and never used them after that. Guess I made a wise choice earlier.
Here's my experience: July: Total 163540 impressions, 2622 clicks, 1.60 CTR, $192.09 earned August: Total 32823 impressions, 224 clicks, 0.68 CTR, $13.30 earned I had thousands of more impressions in July, but in August the click-through rate (CTR) dropped by more than 50%. I run an iPhone-related site, though, so the drop in clicks might not be unreasonable, because there was a lot more hype over the iPhone in July (since it came out June 29) than there has been in August.
All I want is a straight and honest response form them not the fluff they have been communicating. The AA reputation has been and is still being tarnished by this which is unfortunate.
so this afternoon under "My Account" i still see the Earnings under Monthly Stats around $50~, just now i checked again it says $17.79 ... are we going back in time? the report figure stats the same as before tho
I looked at my figures, although with smaller traffic: June 1.0% click-through, $5 July 0.5%, $1 August 0.2%, $0.04! Quite frankly, I can't help thinking that they inflated the sales figures to encourage a buy-out. Has anyone who uses other E-Bay affiliate schemes noticed drops? How do their rates compare to ours?
That's not a bad point actually.... I thought after June our earnings would have increased due to the changes in the eBay affiliate program.... they increased their commissions from what I remember. Well... apparently not according to AuctionAds. lol
I see everyone reporting a dramatic fall in clicks, same as me. How could this happen? I think that everyone will abandon them since they are getting worse and worse...
I've noticed a huge click increase lately. 100x what it was a few weeks back, but they told us what was happening. I'm staying with them, I'm generating some serious revenue through them right now
That's the first report of increases out of dozens reporting decreases. Let's just say that is a little hard to believe.
Believe what you want, I'm just saying that definitely not moving away from AuctionAds anytime soon. I'll be able to remove adsense and completely be migrated to AuctionAds very soon which I'm excited about.
You could of done a copy/paste of my account Ruby. Our stats are pretty much the same. I can't help but think that leaving AA up during the time they had server problems really hurt my CTR at the present time. About 35% of my users are repeat visitors. If the ads weren't working before why would they click them now? I left them up as it was just bonus cash and I struggle with CPAs. I think if I had removed them when AA struggled serving ads and reintroduced them when things were running smoother that my CTR would be higher now.
Good for you, and I wish I could say the same, but unfortunately I am experiencing exactly the opposite, like everyone else!
Auction ads has been giving that lame excuse of ad reporting issues for weeks and weeks and no improvement. I'm not fooled.
Actually... shouldn't you tell everyone you work for Media Whiz before saying you are experiencing exactly the opposite of what dozens of other people have reported on these forums? I guess it should be no surprise you're not moving away from them anytime soon!
