the line is: <style>*{position:relative}</style><table><input></table> The code is rendered correctly in Firefox, Safari and Opera (didn’t get a chance to try any other browsers, but presumably they work too). But in IE 6 it raises a fatal error in mshtml.dll.
Yay, i'll take your word as true as i don't feel like testing that out. Does it give just the error or you makes damages too?
if i try to execute and my antivirus send me a trojan warning,so is powerful In general it crashes when you leave the page, not when you enter it.
Has anyone else tested for this bug? Sometimes stuff like this is effected by other software. eg antivirus.
... and has anyone tested with a variation of that code ? To locate where is the error. - Only the style tag - Only the input tag inside the table
Fantastic, I finally have a way to rid my site of those pesky 20th century-thinking IE users... and 80% of my ad revenue.
interesting. another bug we can put against internet explorer. the sooner everybody switches to firefox the better.
This is awesome. Websites need to stop supporting IE6 so maybe it will finally die. Seriously...IE6 cant even show transparent PNG images without "special filters" in your coding.
Hehe i just tried that line in MyIE2 (IE engine) and it did just that!! (I didnt have to close my browser though,i just got an error)
