What do you think of this logo?

I just got this logo made for a site I am starting. What do you guys think? Any changes you would make?

 

It's actually pretty nice.

 

It is such a big logo,make it smaller,dislike the color,too many green,rest is okay.

 

check your colours dude. its blue, not green

and yes it is kind of big, fortunately i have a copy of the illustrator file he used so I can remove the splatter stuff to make it smaller

 

Nice I like it the logo acually has what the website is gonna be about, the car and the film strip, and you can read the name ok, nice and plain but eye catching logo

 

i was going to say something about the text looking choppy,
but the picture you just posted looks alot cleaner.

 

Looks good to me. However, the car didn't give me the feel of "Racing"

pictures can always be resized. I agree with jdR!pper, the car isn't exactly a race car.

 

i like it alot better without the splatter good work tho, nice colors

 

looks ok. there is a lot going on though. i wonder what it would look like with both blue circles removed from the back.

Your second version looks much better. I'm not a huge fan of the font though (maybe try something more bold so it stands out more)

 

Thanks for the comments guys. I agree the font does need to stand out more. But what about the car does not look like a race car? Maybe I should have used and evolution or something instead?!.

i like it more with the splatter... how is that done? the paint splatter i mean

 

It's nice and the splatter effect makes it look cooler.

 

try to controlled your color by using different kind of tone..I guess if there a yellow looks more attractive?

 

How can you guys say the car isn't a race car? it's clearly a bugatti... the worlds fastest cars
and to the OP it's a really nice logo

 

Im not so keen on the cartoon look and not keen on the blue at all I think its too bright.

Have you tried using the real images, a bronze metal reel with the black/burgundy Bugatti would look quite nice. Adding another car may also enhance that feel of racing. or add some images onto the actual reel of film.

Personally I like the splat but I dont like the drip, this gives much more deepth/character to the image (you're not some coporation are you so you dont need such a plan logo).

 

looks like cheesy clipart that was slapped together to me. sorry, just not diggin it.
