Long distance, can it work?

So my ex told me that they never fell out of love with me. We were together for about 3 years.
Maybe I feel the same, not sure.
Anyway, I know it could never work because of the distance. I'm always on the move.
So, can long distance work? It worked for a while but eventually it got to both of us and we decided to part amicably.

Oh and when I heard this, I said, "Well, that's always good to hear." They told me they're going to go because they feel stupid. I said, "Alright. Something to think about. Thanks."

I was honestly at a loss for words.

It depends upon the people involved. For me, long distance relationships won't work either.

That sucks. Cambridge, eh? Ontario? Yuck! I hate that place.

Ok, back on subject...Thanks for all the replies. It probably will work for us. I don't think I'll go for it though.

that depeends on the people involved like it was said. But long term relationship @long distance...well lets say more than a year it´s a bit complicated.

My personal experience with long distance relationship is that it dosen't work. You are too far from each other, too many temptations and many things can happen while you're apart from each other.

It worked out for like 3 years for us in the past. We'll see where this all goes though.
