I am looking for good marketing ideas for my new site www.haunt.org

I am primarily looking to reach two groups of people

    1) People in the Haunted House and Halloween Industry

    2) People interested in Halloween and looking for Haunted Houses

I don't have a lot of time to interact in forums, develop myspace accounts, etc. but I do have some money to invest. The problem is I do not have a lot of cash so I need to maximize my investment.

I also need to start advertising pretty heavily since October is quickly approaching.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Well, you'll probably want to target parents, and smaller kids.

Start aiming for keywords like "halloween treats", "halloween fun", etc. Hire a SEO expert if you've got no experience or time to do it yourself. Google is your best friend, since most moms getting a Halloween ready for their kids are Googlers.

Try the social media hook. Get a couple pages DIGG'd and on the first page. Do a couple of StumbleUpon.com pages too. Advertise via PPC for traffic you know you're going to get. Pay someone to do posts/comments on your behalf on popular forums/blogs that relate to Halloween.

Thanks Vadym but the primary revenue will come from people who run haunted attractions. Most of them are targeting teens and adults not smaller kids.

I don't really have content aimed at the Digg audience. Getting to page one is not feasible. Stumble might help some but most of the traffic there is not going to be very targeted. PPC is really not an affordable option, I might try it a little. The pay for Post idea is a good one. Do you know a good place to get this service done?

I'd also suggest you pay someone to write a press release for you. If you had a good quality press release written on the topic of haunted houses and then paid to have it distributed through prweb. I really think you would have a great success.
