What does the ideal backlink look like?

    Should i be putting in a "title="Keyword here" into my backlinks? or what should i be putting in.

    I mean the name you have for the link .....
    For example in your signature-100$ Namecheap..... is your anchor text. Is that what you are referring to ?

    Oh, i thought it was some secret seo code that was different to the title="Keyword here" tag people put into there links. THanks for the info :)

    When you place hyper link on a text then you can call that text as an anchor text.;)

    The tag you use to create a link - <a></a> has a 'title' attribute, which is different than the 'anchor text,' which is the stuff between the tags.

    You should use both: <a href="yourpage" title="Good keywords">Keywords are good!</a>

    If you hover over a link with the title attribute set, you'll see the title display just like the alt tag on an image.

    I like having the title be a slightly different wording of the text with the same keywords. Double bang for your buck.
