I prefer AVG over Norton. If you don't like AVG you can just uninstall it. If you don't like Norton you have to format. I think that factor alone shows what kind of company the Norton developers are. I don't like being forced to use any software... I like the freedom. Plus, AVG doesn't hassle you to death with pop-ups "you anti-virus is out of date, pay $79 or your computer will sell all your private information to illegal aliens (or whatever else it is American's fear these days)" and 30 junk icons in the tray.
I've always loved AVG because its free and all, however i got a bit sick of it. While i had it, i hadn't recieved any virus warning for the whole time (and i rarely go about 2 weeks without one) so i just didnt know if it was doing its job. And aswell as Norton being impossible to unistall (i think you can get something of their site) it hogs your pc. I'm on ZoneAlarm for now, as it has all the services i need in one
yeh, norton is resource eater and makes ur computer slow, kaspersky is good yes... i used AVG also but its database is not so updated against latest viruses..
We installed McAfee on our computer... and it crashed. Plus, it seems a lot of businesses give it out for free... I know where I work they get paid off by each person they get to use it. Shady in my opinion.
