Auction ads going to hell

I have had tons of problems with auction ads in the past month. Although the number of ad impressions has remained constant the number of clicks has plummeted. Subsequently os has my revenue. I can't even make $1/day with the stupid ads although my site gets thousands of visits a day.

It is unacceptable

 

I am thinking of dropping them after August finishes. I saw some fairly good results a couple of months back and then not so bad the month after and nothing this month.

 

I made about $110 since July 1st but at this point they have to go

 

For me, in the past i had complains, but the last 2 months, AA has worked very well and i made good money.

Could the drop in earnings be from your users becoming used to auctionads? Nope its gotta be auctionads fault, you shouldnt blame and whine if and ad network isnt converting on your site, you should just leave and find a better fit.

 

But a lot of people are reporting this problem on other forums. You don't go form 90 clicks a day to 5 clicks a day cause people aren't seeing the ads. It has to do with reporting issues.

But other issues include not replying to emails

 

I know about the reporting issues but what im saying is wether its reporting issues or not, a drop in clicks or earnings should mean you decide to go to another network. Not whine about it for two months and leave when they actually fixed the problems.

 

One of the goals of blogging is to persuade, and unless webmasters make a fuss action won't be taken or take longer than it should.

 

Auction ads just went web 2.0 style and a whole new way of presenting their ads with different colors available, and they are much clearer, the only cons is you currently can't adjust your borders and stuff.

I found my average epc to be less than 2 cents

 

I have become very dissapointed with auction ads. For a long time they worked really well, but the past few months have been horrible. I am going to experiment taking them down for a while and putting them back to see if my users are just tired of them.

 

Maybe you guys are not showing ads that are good for your demographic? Ebay changes remember. Maybe both sides have something to do with it.

 

There's definitely something wrong... A LOT of people are experiencing EXACTLY the same thing.... great June earnings but July and August were pathetic. Clicks were down like way more than 60-70% which has affected earnings.

Something is NOT RIGHT.

 

Why not just switch to another network, at least until these problems have been sorted out.

 

I have the same issues. Clicks dropped from 300 to 20 a day with about 1500 uniques a day. A niche site.

 

Exactly.... there's something wrong when MOST people are reporting the same thing.

 

I think my monthly earnings are correct now, still the stats are not. I've made quite alot money since they re-designed the page. My monthly income went up by 50usd one day, so that might be the lost data i assume. Still, daily stats are often messed up.

 

Yeah I was having some major issues too.

But I was able to speak to some of AuctionAds' lead developers and they said that everything is working as it should right now. They did have a problem during their transition as they were acquired by MediaWhiz recently, but everything is working now from what I was told.

I'm keeping them on board, there is a load of revenue just waiting to be taken.
